On a wholesale you buy a lot of products or many products with discounted prices. In Europe is also know as engross.

One of the most popular sites is liquidation.com. It is like ebay but instead of buying one item you buy a lot.

Many people use their services to make an extra buck: they buy lots of products and sell them one by one on places like ebay or other auction sites.

Of course not everyone does this. Sometimes friends group together and make a common purchase.

Also small retail companies buy on wholesales.
