HP laptops

HP greatly expanded its presence in laptop and desktop computers after it merged with Compaq in 2002. Through HP Home & Home Office Store, it sells its laptop and other computers directly to consumers online and is often seen as competing with Dell. Its computers range from low budget to high-end devices. By offering so many models, HP has been a major influence on the computer market in recent years.

On the plus side for HP laptops, they have more models than Dell. Also, they offer more cheap models for those whom do not want to spend too much. However, while their website is impressive, it does not offer the kind of information Dell does. Also, Dell offers far more customization options. One can build a very cheap or expensive computer with Dell depending on what options they choose. While some find so many options confusing and annoying, many like the ability to get exactly what they want and really put their own style into their computer.

For the more expensive gaming models, most find HP superior.
